Mates4Mates

On the 25th of April every year we remember and honour the indomitable spirit of the Anzacs’  along with those who served Australia in conflicts around the world.

We remember and honour the achievements of the ANZACs and their courage, determination, mateship and sacrifice along with that of their families.

This year, however, things are a bit different. So many of the planned remembrance events have had to be shelved to ensure the safety and well being of our community. So much of our life has changed and the community has had to adjust to a new normal.

However, the ANZAC spirit lives in us all and we owe it to them to live up to the standards they have represented. We need to face challenges together and overcome them; to put others before ourselves; to be courageous, self-reliant and determined. This holds true now more than ever. This year we must overcome the challenge of dawn service being cancelled, remain socially distant (putting others before ourselves) and utilise our self-reliance and determination to overcome the myriad of challenging emotions we may be feeling.

And we must lean on one another, especially in these tough times. Ask for support  when you need it and offer yours in turn. Call Mates4Mates on 1300 4 MATES to enquire about our services.

Together we will get through this.
